The leading suspects are a group of white supremacists headquartered in the rural Midwest, so the Bureau sends a female agent to infiltrate the community and uncover the truth about their involvement. The agent compromises her objectivity when she falls in love with one of the prime suspects and refuses to believe he could be guilty of such a heinous crime.
